New Smoking Regulations - 1st July 2007

The Health Act 2006 requires all enclosed premises to be smoke-free. Mandatory No-Smoking signs must need to be placed at the entrance to all buildings affected so that employees, visitors and customers are aware of the ban. Vehicles will also be affected if they are driven by more than one person in the company. Fines will be levied for breaking the ban in no smoking locations.
In addition, heavy fines will be levied for not displaying signage.
